Orgasm facts and myths

Some common myths and the facts:

MYTH:
There is more chance of a woman achieving orgasm with a large penis.

FACT:
The size of a penis has no effect on the woman's ability to orgasm as there are very few nerve endings within the vagina, making the size of the penis immaterial in attaining orgasm. Meaning that both small or large penises can give the same amount of pleasure for a woman. The G spot is located only 2 inches inside the vagina and can be stimulated easily by an average penis. An old saying rings true: It's not what you've got, it's what you do with it.

MYTH:
A vaginal orgasm is better than a clitoral orgasm.

FACT:
That all depends on the woman in question as some women prefer G spot stimulation and others clitoral. Experiment to find out which offers you the most satisfaction.

MYTH
To feel sexually satisfied you must reach orgasm.

FACT:
Many women feel sexually satisfied whether they reach orgasm or not. But an orgasm is the icing on the cake and preferable for most women if they could achieve orgasm on every single occasion. Problems may occur if a woman never reaches orgasm (see common reasons for not achieving orgasm).

MYTH:
Condoms affect a woman's ability to orgasm.

FACT:
It is unlikely for a condom to interfere with a woman's orgasm. If a woman does find it a problem, maybe the use of a ribbed condom will increase the sensitivity.Condoms are also a very effective method of contraception and the best form of providing safe sex.

MYTH:
An orgasm is always an earth moving experience

FACT:
Some women do not experience orgasm in the sense of feeling their pelvic floor muscles contract.
Some women have orgasms and don't know it.They do however reach a peak of arousal after which they feel very relaxed and contented, the same feelings other women experience after orgasm.

MYTH:
If a woman cannot reach orgasm, then her partner is not a skillful lover.

FACT:
There are many ways a loving partner can help there woman reach orgasm. Communication between you and your partner plays the biggest role in achieving orgasm. Tell your partner what excites and arouses you.
